Rocket Typist Pro 3.2.5
Rocket Typist is a modern Mac application, created with simplicity in mind. During a regular day, most of us type the same text over and over again, wasting an enormous amount of time in the process. Why not let your computer do some of that work for you? Once you have collected your snippets, you will never have to type them again.
Here are just a few examples
- Commonly repeated phrases such as "How are you?"
- Signatures with or without images
- Current date and time
- Names, addresses and other contact details
- Hard to remember technical terms
- Support replies to your customers
- Code snippets for developers
Features
- Type an abbreviation and expend it into a snippet
- Use macros to make your snippets more dynamic
- Snippets can either be plain or rich text
- Select snippets from your Mac's Touch Bar
- Export and import snippets
What's New:
Version 3.2.5
New Features:
- The snippet keyboard now displays folders whenever no snippet matches the current word. You can tap on a folder to see all snippets and select a snippet to be inserted into the text. (iOS only)
- The snippet keyboard now smoothly animates when displaying found snippets (iOS only)
- Custom OpenAI URLs no longer necessitate a port number. If you omit it, the default port number 443 will be used.
- Available models for smart snippets are now changing dynamically, based on their availability.
- The snippets above the snippet keyboard are now slightly larger. (iOS only)
- You cab now select multiple snippets and change the case sensitivity for all of them at once via the context menu (right-click or long press).
- The Internet Access Policy has been implemented for better compatibility with firewall apps like Little Snitch.
- Small improvements to the user interface have been made.
Bug Fixes:
- In some cases, Rocket Typists may slowed down the typing speed on other applications after prolonged use. (macOS only)
- Using a snippet with a snippet macro that inserts a formatted text or image, may did to insert the entire content of the snippet in the target app if the snippet type was plain text. (macOS only)
- Adopting the letter case might not have been effective if the abbreviation was triggered by the last symbol of the abbreviation instead of a trigger key. (macOS only)
- The „more settings“ menu item in the status bar menu has been removed because it can cause unexpected behavior. Unfortunately, there’s no reliable way to do this at the moment because of a bug in macOS. (macOS only)
