Unite for macOS transforms any website into a native Mac app-fast, customizable, and tightly integrated with macOS. Instead of juggling browser tabs, create standalone apps that live in your Dock, use native window controls, and behave like regular Mac software.

Make an app in seconds: enter a URL, pick an icon, and customize appearance and behavior. Each app runs in its own lightweight, WebKit-based environment, offering a more integrated and efficient experience than browser web apps or Electron alternatives.

Unite apps are highly configurable: show or hide title bars, match colors to site branding, tweak window styles, and manage tabs with features like pinning and locking. Choose how links open, enable per-app notifications and Focus Mode behavior to minimize distractions, and use built-in modes-standard windows, sidebars, floating or compact views, and menu bar utilities-to suit any workflow.

Additional conveniences include an integrated ad blocker and customizable keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation and daily use.

  • Bookmark Folders: Create, rename, and organize bookmarks into nested folders. Bookmark imports now preserve their original folder structure.
  • Improved 1Password Autofill: 1Password autofill beta now supports multiple signed-in accounts, remembers your selected account for each app, and correctly preserves your autofill preferences.
  • Improved Menu Bar Link Handling: Custom link-forwarding rules now work more reliably in Menu Bar apps, including when websites are also included in an app’s whitelist.
  • Startup Tab Fix: Fixed startup tabs being duplicated after relaunching an app. Tabs you intentionally close will also remain closed.
  • Menu Bar Tab Renaming: Fixed an issue that could prevent tabs from being renamed in Menu Bar apps and other tab menus.
  • Improved Tab Stability: Fixed an intermittent crash that could occur when closing tabs or opening links outside an app.
  • Address Bar Shortcut Fix: Cmd+L now correctly focuses the address bar in Sidebar Mode and other window layouts.
  • Password Manager Improvements: Fixed an issue where some older saved passwords could not be edited or deleted, as well as an issue that could temporarily cause the password list to appear empty.
  • Tab Switching Shortcut Fix: Fixed Cmd+Shift+[ and Cmd+Shift+] occasionally skipping every other tab.
