RIFFENDIUM SERIES is a themed sample library collection for modern producers and composers. It includes loops of real, modeled, synthesized and designed instruments, resulting in an original palette of inspiring sounds for creators of electronic and organic music. Our first release in this series is a collection of electric guitar loops which spans from clean ballads strumming and arpeggios techniques to raging grunge rock guitar riffs.

The Circle Bells library was recorded with a rare and unique instrument called "Blossom Bells", created by local SF Bay Area metal working artisan Pete Engelhart. This hand-welded tuned percussion instrument features six steel conical bells tuned to different keys and spread out in a fan arrangement. Each bell has a deeply rich, warm and sonorous tone with a long sustain and crystalline clarity. We recorded them with soft mallets, hard picks and viola bow with both single-strikes/staccatos and rolls/sustains for each articulation. Its distinctive sound evokes the feel of a steel Marimbaphone or Celeste when played with mallets and a glass armonica when bowed, yet its character and undulating resonance defies any direct comparison to any other instrument.

AURAS is an exploration of the realm of musical sound that is formless or indefinable in nature. These sonic sculptures can be shaped and controlled using MIDI keyboards and controllers, including MPE (Midi Polyphonic Expression) technology such as the ROLI Seaboard or Haken Continuum, which have the ability to mould the sound per note whilst playing. As well as exploring the curated sound world of the AURAS patches, new sonic landscapes can be created and customised using the COLOURS environment. Simple assignment of sound shaping parameters to any MIDI sliders, knobs or controllers makes designing completely unique performable textures easy and quick.

8Dio Studio Steel Drum represents an extreme deep-sampled Steel Drum. The instrument is comprised of more than 55.000 samples, 5 true vintage microphone positions, 2 world-class reverbs (Bricasti & TC6000). The 8Dio Studio Steel Drum was custom designed for 8Dio. We wanted the instrument to cover all ranges from bass to treble, but have them all contained inside a singular Steel Drum. We sampled the instrument with several mallet types (ex. Beaters, Felt Mallet, Brushes, Hands, Nails, Rattles, FX etc) at up to 10 velocity layers and 10 repetitions.
