Even if you are not a professional painter you can create your own masterpiece! Just use AKVIS OilPaint to turn a regular photo into an oil painting. Adjusting the density, texture, and thickness of the brush strokes, you can not only get impressive effects, but also find your own painting style.

The mysterious production of an artwork happens right before your eyes. The program creates a picture that looks like a handmade oil painting. Personalize your work by adding text or watermark. To enhance the authenticity of your painting adjust the canvas surface. Put a ready image in one of the frames from the rich collection incorporated in the software. Using the Abstract Art tab, you can give a modern spin to traditional oil paintings. It lets you turn any image into a unique abstract painting full of vibrant colors and fantastical shapes.

The software offers a number of ready to use Presets that let you familiarize yourself with the features. The Batch Processing support allows you automatically create a series of images in the oil painting style. Updated Texture Library
The Texture Library in the Frame tab has been updated! It offers an impressive array of new high quality textures and patterns divided into different subject categories including Holidays, Nature, Post Stamps, etc. The Pattern Frame now includes two more categories: Stars and Ornaments & Doodles. Use new textures for creating holiday greeting cards or special occasion invitation cards!

Random Patterns Frame
The Pattern frame offers the new feature - Random Patterns! Just activate the check-box to mix up to 20 patterns in one frame. Use the Random Seed setting to create multiple combinations by mouse click.

Interface Improvements
The user interface has undergone several improvements. The check-boxes in the Frame tab have been replaced with new easily operated icons. The enabled tools in the Toolbar are now marked with color to make it easier to distinguish between the enabled/disabled states.

Also in the new version:
  • added support for more RAW files in the standalone version;
  • improved the brightness increasing algorithm for patterns and textures;
  • fixed minor bugs.
